Investigations: Patio Chairs, Jewelry, Bicycle Reported Stolen

Police are investigating the reported theft of three patio chairs from a Forest Street restaurant.

The chairs at Locali are valued at $400 apiece, according to police. They went missing some time between 11 p.m. on Aug. 26 and 10 a.m. the next day

Jewelry, silverware and other items were reported stolen from a Marshall Ridge Road home at about 4:46 p.m. on Aug 26, according to police.

Suspects appear to have entered the house through a first-floor bedroom window and stole several watches, necklaces, cufflinks, a gold bracelet, silverware and a pink handbag, according to a police report.

Police are calling on all residents to lock doors and windows, and to set alarms when they leave their homes, as well as to report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.

A Canoe Hill Road woman told police that her wallet went missing some time around Aug. 21 and someone had made fraudulent charges on her credit cards before she cancelled them.

In addition to a wallet, a bicycle worth about $400 went missing from her home, police said.
