Officials investigating a motor vehicle incident in Wilton on Sunday say they’re looking for an SUV last spotted in New Canaan with two young men in their late teens or early-20s inside it.
At about 12:15 p.m. on Feb. 7, a black Range Rover with tinted windows was seen striking a mailbox at 27 Deforest Lane in Wilton, according to the Wilton Police Department.
The newer-model SUV sustained heavy front-right damage and was later seen on South Bald Hill and North Wilton Road in New Canaan, according to a police report.
The driver—who left the scene, evading responsibility—was described as about 5-foot-10 with dark, curly hair, the passenger about six-feet tall with long, shaggy dark hair, the report said.
