New Canaan’s fall ice hockey players are set to battle the Alumni Rams on the ice Friday, November 28th at 6pm at the Darien Ice Rink. This is a great family Thanksgiving activity and a way to usher in the upcoming hockey season.

The “Larry Tomaselli Alumni Game” raises money for the NCHS Boys Varsity and Junior Varsity Ice Hockey programs, helping to offset the cost of ice time, equipment, and referees. Larry and Fiz Tomaselli founded the Alumni game back in 1980 and the event is renowned as a hallmark of the New Canaan Rams hockey legacy of sportsmanship and love of the game that transcends generations. Players from teams as far back as the 70s and 80s are showcased in the first half, and players from more recent years are in the second half of the Alumni Game.
