Placing Flags at Veterans’ Grave Sites in Lakeview Cemetery

Under the auspices of New Canaan’s Post 653 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, new flags for Memorial Day will be placed on the graves of all veterans buried in Lakeview Cemetery.  Placement will start at 8:00am on Saturday, May 26.  Please gather at the lower Veterans section (from the Millport Avenue/Main Street entrance, over the bridge and straight forward).  Refreshments will be available.
