On May 20, 2018 we will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Great Strides Walk at New Canaan High School. The event begins at 8am with Registration and the walk starts at 9am. Funds raised will go directly towards research towards a cure for cystic fibrosis. A hands-on introduction to woodworking for kids! In this 4-week workshop kids will plan and create a one-of-a-kind project such as a hinged wooden storage box. Skills include sanding, drilling with a hand drill, using wood screws, nails, and glue. The children will then finish the project with a stain or paint.
