The order had been issued following an arrest in Milford involving James Myers of Spindrift Lane and a victim, according to a police report.

Police here learned of the violation on Sept. 3 and at about 11 p.m. on Sept. 13, the Milford Police Department contacted NCPD to say they had Myers in custody.

According to Connecticut Judicial Branch records, Milford Police on Aug. 12 arrested Myers and charged him with second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace, and then on Aug. 28 charged him with second-degree strangulation, a felony, as well as third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. That matter has been referred to a family relations officer and Myers is scheduled to appear Sept. 18 in connection with it. Another arrest record from last year has been statutorily sealed.

Police released no details of the Sept. 3 incident or arrest warrant that followed, saying it was a domestic matter.

Myers was held on $20,000 bond and scheduled to appear Monday in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
