DESCRIPTION:Join the Holiday Fun! \nThe annual Holiday Stroll has become a family favorite for New Canaan residents and those of our neighboring towns. Downtown New Canaan transforms into something out of a Dickens story book. Friday night kicks off with the arrival of Santa Claus\, a lighting of the trees\, carol singing\, live entertainment while the stores stay open late and offer refreshments and holiday cheer. \nSaturday includes pictures with Santa at Santa’s workshop\, characters roaming the streets\, more live entertainment\, a Gingerbread House Tour and much more. \n\nDelicious Food Available including Vermont’s Waffle Cabin\n\nFriday\, Dec. 5th\, 5 – 9pm \n\nEntertainment begins at 5:15\nDowntown Tree Lighting\nLive Entertainment\nStores Open Late\nGuest Appearance by Santa\n\nSaturday\, Dec. 6th\, 10am – 4pm \n\nVisit with Santa at Ralph Lauren Children’s Store at 115 Elm Street\nCast of Characters\nLive Entertainment\nGingerbread House Tour\nIce Sculpture Demonstrations\nLoads of Holiday Cheer!\n\nGingerbread Houses! \n\nGingerbread Kits will be ready to be picked up in Early November. Over 75 stores are anxiously awaiting your creations!\n\nThis year you can pick up your FREE Kit at: \n\nHalstead Property\n183 Elm Street\nWhen you pick up your kit at Halstead\, you will be assigned a store where your finished House will be displayed. Please bring your Gingerbread House to the store no later than December 1st. We want all of the Houses in place for the Holiday Stroll. Have Fun and be Creative!\n\n
