SUMMARY:3rd Annual Tea Dance to Benefit Lighthouse\, A Program of Kids In Crisis
DESCRIPTION:Kids In Crisis warmly invites the community to the 3rd Annual Tea Dance to benefit Lighthouse. Guests will gather for an afternoon of music\, gourmet bites\, and fashionable fun to raise vital funds needed to support the Lighthouse program. This special event will ensure youth have a safe\, welcoming space to connect with peers and caring adults. \nEvery dollar raised will directly support Lighthouse\, a peer-to-peer social support program for students who experience marginalization or discrimination based on who they are. Your participation will help provide children with a place where they can create friendships and find support without fear of judgment. \nThe Tea Dance to benefit Lighthouse\, co-chaired by Christian Meskers\, Bill Pierz\, and Chris Spiegelman\, will take place on Sunday\, September 7\, 2025\, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the picturesque Foundation House\, 124 Old Mill Road\, Greenwich. The afternoon will include festive summer attire\, music and dancing\, and delicious food from several popular Norwalk restaurants. \nThis year’s event is proud to welcome emcee Dan Guller\, DJ MattyM\, and photographer Brian Zuleta\, each bringing their talent and commitment to making the Tea Dance a success. \nThe Lighthouse program offers weekly group meetings where youth can share experiences\, create friendships\, and find support without fear of judgment. This program builds community through art\, shared meals and discussions. No bullying is ever allowed\, and every participant has the opportunity to be heard in a safe and casual setting. Youth from any town are welcome at any group or special event. \nEvents like the Lighthouse Tea Dance directly support and sustain the Lighthouse program\, allowing weekly or monthly meetings to be held in Bridgeport\, Stamford\, Wilton\, Darien\, Ridgefield\, and Westport. And it’s events like this that support the expansion of Lighthouse’s reach throughout Fairfield County. \nKids In Crisis extends heartfelt thanks to event co-chairs Christian Meskers\, Bill Pierz\, and Chris Spiegelman\, and to the entire committee\, for their dedication and hard work in bringing this event to life. Thank you to all the wonderful Norwalk restaurants that are providing all the delicious food for this year’s event. We also gratefully acknowledge the generous support of our event sponsors including Circle Care Center\, Denis and Lisa LaPolice\, Leonard Litz LGBTQ+ Foundation\, Lucky Dog Refuge\, MK Reichert Sternlicht Foundation\, Alon Marom and Anthony Palazzo\, Bill Pierz\, and Chris Spiegelman and Charles Scatamacchia\, whose commitment to Lighthouse youth makes this meaningful afternoon possible. \nTo purchase tickets or to learn more about available sponsorship opportunities\, please visit https://kicteadance2025.givesmart.com. \nAbout Kids In Crisis\nKids In Crisis provides 24-hour support to children and families throughout Fairfield County\, including mental health counseling\, crisis intervention\, emergency shelter\, and specialized programs like Lighthouse.
