SUMMARY:Art in the Windows Downtown Kick off
DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, May 30th from 4-6pm\, the Carriage Barn and New Canaan Chamber of Commerce\, along with other community organizations and business partners\, will host a downtown celebration of creativity for the kick off of Art in the Windows!  Art-inspired window displays\, wine tastings\, artist receptions and refreshments in stores around town. \nOrganized in partnership with the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce\, this community exhibit pairs the work of local artists with participating retailers throughout town. Over 100 pieces of artwork will be displayed in store windows through June 21. \nSeveral local businesses are supporting this year’s exhibit including Merrill Lynch as presenting sponsor\, and lead sponsors Karl Chevrolet\, Hutchinson Tree Care Specialists\, New Canaan Board of Realtors\, and The Playhouse. \nCome and help celebrate New Canaan and our fantastic creative community through this annual showcase of art downtown! \n
