DESCRIPTION:As part of an ongoing effort to prevent identity theft\, Bankwell is hosting a free Shred Day on Saturday\, May 18th from 9am – noon.  It will be held at two Bankwell branches:  156 Cherry Street in New Canaan\, and 2704 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden. \nResidents are encouraged to dispose of old credit cards\, passports\, bills\, invoices\, checks\, statements\, or other personal papers safely and securely.
