The daughter of João Gilberto and singer Miúcha\, as well as the niece of the legendary Chico Buarque\, she crafts a work that’s light but never boring. Known for her adventurous blends of Brazilian\, European and electronic pop styles\, the multi-Grammy-nominee released her latest album\, Tudo\, in August of 2014 –her first studio recording in five years. Tudo\, which means “everything” in English\, showcases Bebel’s ethereal vocals and wistful\, dreamy songwriting. Bebel splits her time between Rio de Janeiro and New York City and she’s exquisitely synthesized musical influences from both cities in every track. The perfect Brazilian mix of chill and melancholy mixed with intimate vocals and playful Brazilian rhythms has become Bebel Gilberto’s specialty. \n
