DESCRIPTION:St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in New Canaan\, CT will present Blues in Lent\, beginning Wednesday\, March 8 at 7:30PM\, and will run for five consecutive Wednesdays during Lent. All performances are free and open to the public. Playing and listening to the blues and to spirituals allows a deeper experience of humanity\, and is a way a way to reflect and grow. This month\, New York City based blues\, rock and jazz guitar player\, singer\, and composer Tom Larsen will be presenting a series of duos\, performing some of his favorite pieces with special musical guests. He will be joined by a selection of impressive NYC-based musicians that he has worked with in the past\, including Solomon Hicks\, Jason Marshall\, Todd Caldwell\, Wayne Tucker\, and SaRon Crenshaw.  \n
