DESCRIPTION:Calling all bakers\, cupcake decorators or simply anyone with a sweet tooth!  New Canaan CARES is hosting their second annual Cake Baking Contest Sunday\, January 22nd from 2-4pm at Halo Studios. \nCome and beat the January blues at this fun filled family event\, which includes awards for craziest cake\, fanciest cake and best use of color.  Non-bakers are also encouraged to come with their entire family\, free of charge\, for activities including a cupcake decorating station and face painting. \nAnd for those who love sweets\, a silent auction with creations from local businesses\, including Gates and Simply Delicious\, will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting Cares youth and family programs. \nFor more information and to register online go to newcanaancares.org.
