DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Carriage Barn Arts Center for the opening night party celebrating “The Accidental\nArtists” exhibit\, Saturday\, April 2\, 2022\, from 6pm to 9pm.  \nThis two-week art exhibit at the Carriage Barn Arts Center features an array of abstract paintings by acquired savants Alder H. Crocker and David Marchi. \nWhat is acquired savant syndrome?  Sudden and congenital instances in which dormant savant skills emerge after a brain\, spinal injury or disease in previously non-disabled (neurotypical) persons where few such skills were evident before.  Crocker and Marchi are founders of the The Artistic Savant Guild\, and champion the message that out of any type of physical or mental trauma\, creativity can emerge if you open your heart\, mind and soul. \nEnjoy some wine and meet the artists! \nThe Artistic Savant exhibit will remain open to the public free of charge from Friday\, April 1 to April 15.  \n
