DESCRIPTION:The Carriage Barn Art Center’s annual “Deck the Walls!” wreath auction and\nsmall works exhibit  opens on Artists Sunday\, a nationwide art-focused\nshopping day the first Sunday after Thanksgiving. \nVisitors can shop and meet some of the featured artists at the Carriage Barn\non November 28 between 1-5pm and enjoy a Scout and Cellar wine tasting 3-5pm.  \nUnique\, one-of-a-kind wreaths will be available to buy or bid on\, along with a selection of small\, original artwork priced at $250 or less.  From\ntraditionally decorated greens to unconventional materials and\nthemed designs\, the wreaths are created and donated by local\nartists\, designers\, businesses and organizations. Wreath donors include Adirondack\, New Canaan Mounted Troop\, Copia\, The Glass House\, Bloomcraft and many more.  Artwork by many celebrated local artists will include paintings\, fine art photography\, ceramics and mixed media works in a range of styles. \nThe gallery will be open Tuesday-Sunday through December 11 from 11am-4pm and admission is free. \n“We are excited to be preparing for our annual Deck The Walls which has become a special holiday tradition” says Hilary Wittmann\, Carriage Barn Executive Director.  “This is a great opportunity to shop for something\ntruly unique\, while supporting local artists and the Carriage\nBarn’s educational programs.” \nSee more at www.carriagebarn.org \n
