DESCRIPTION:ECONOMIC IMPLICATIONS OF GLOBAL REBALANCING\nTOPIC OF GLOBAL ECONOMIC TRENDS LECTURE ON DECEMBER 4th \nRobert T. “Tim” McGee\, Director of Macro Strategy and Research\, U.S. Trust\, Bank of America Private Wealth Management will speak at the World Affairs Forum’s Annual Global Economic Trends Lecture on December 4th. The event\, hosted by MasterCard Worldwide and co-sponsored by Pitney Bowes\, Inc. and UCONN CIBER\, will be held at the MasterCard Worldwide Headquarters in Purchase\, New York. \nHe serves on the Investment Strategy Committee and manages a team that researches global economic trends and turns them into strategies for investment professionals and high-net-worth clients. \nPrior to his current role\, McGee was Chief Economist at U.S. Trust. In addition\, he has been a Strategist and Economist with UFJ and Tokai Banks and has a regular market column in the Nikkei Financial Daily. Over the years\, he has been recognized by Bloomberg news\, Business Week\, USA Today and The Wall Street Journal for outstanding forecast accuracy\, including being ranked the number one forecaster several times. He has appeared on CNBC\, Reuters\, and Bloomberg TV and has been quoted in various publications like The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. In addition\, he has published numerous articles in academic journals.\nHe has served as chairman of the American Bankers Association’s Economic Advisory Committee\, president of the Forecasters’ Club of New York\, and chairman of the NABE (National Association of Business Economics) Financial Roundtable. \nTim received his B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin. \nThe Global Economic Trends Lecture begins at 5:30 with a cocktail reception.
