DESCRIPTION:Knights of Columbus to Host Annual Free-Throw Competition at\nSt. Aloysius School in New Canaan \nNEW CANAAN\, CONN.— Boys and girls between the ages of nine and 14 will compete in an annual free throw competition on Sunday\, Feb. 2\, 2019\, in the St. Aloysius School gymnasium in New Canaan\, Conn.  \nThe competition is sponsored by the Rev. John H. Stapleton\, #2287 Knights of Columbus Council as an athletic outlet for youth and to encourage the values of sportsmanship and healthy competition.  Approximately 2\,000 K of C free-throw competitions are held each year throughout the country. \nKids compete within their own gender and age and progress from local level to district\, regional and state/province competitions.
