DESCRIPTION:On May 20\, 2018 we will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Great Strides Walk at New Canaan High School. The event begins at 8am with Registration and the walk starts at 9am. Funds raised will go directly towards research towards a cure for cystic fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a rare genetic disease that progressively limits the ability to breathe. To combat this condition\, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was founded in 1955 by parents desperate to save their children’s lives. Their impassioned determination to prolong life has resulted in tremendous strides over the past 60 years in accelerating research and drug development.
