DESCRIPTION:Mahjong & Mindfulness- A Half-Day Mini Retreat  is a restorative four-hour experience  that blends the engaging strategy and fun of Mahjong play with practices curated to promote relaxation\, presence\, and well-being. Whether you are a beginning or experienced player\, the morning will include both guided and open play\, creating opportunities to learn\, connect\, and enjoy the social benefits of Mahjong. \nWe’ll start the morning with gentle yoga and movement- suitable for all levels; then take our seats at the tables and begin play accompanied by a relaxing sound bath. About half-way through\, we’ll head right out the door to beautiful Waveny Park for a meditative nature walk\, and come back refreshed and ready to tackle some more strategic play! \nThe event ends with a short gratitude meditation\, leaving you feeling clear\, balanced\, calm\, and ready for the weekend! Healthy snacks and tea will be provided throughout the day. Join us to experience Mahjong like never before at this unique experience that nurtures both mind and body while fostering community\, focus\, and joy. \nEarly Bird Rate $119 before July 1\n$139 after July 1 \nNote that there will not be Mahjong instruction at this event.
