SUMMARY:NCHS Scholarship Foundation First-Ever NC Color Drop
DESCRIPTION:On March 31st\, a sleek Bell407 helicopter\, courtesy of HeliNY\, will fly over New Canaan and hover over Waveny Park before releasing more than 1\,000 colored golf balls over a designated target.  All purchased balls will have an assigned number.  The closest to the target will win a 2021 Peloton Tread.  There will be 2nd and 3rd prize winners as well.  This event will be live-streamed on Channel 78 starting at 9:45am.  The winning golf balls will be announced immediately following the contest.  100% of the proceeds will be donated to need-based college scholarships for NCHS graduates.  Balls will go on sale on the New Canaan High School Scholarship Foundation website www.nchs-sf.org March 1st\, 2021 and the cost is $25 per ball.  Also\, bid on a chance for four passengers to fly in the helicopter during the NC Color Drop.  See what one colorful golf ball can do!  For your safety\, no spectators will be allowed at the event.   \n
