SUMMARY:NCHS 'SLOBs' Plan First Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Service League of Boys (SLOBs) will hold its first general meeting of the school year on Saturday\, September 20\, 2014 at 2pm\, in the New Canaan High School cafeteria. The club works to foster the parent-son relationship in a philanthropic organization committed to community service and leadership development. Our first speaker will be Mike Evans\, NCHS Varsity Boy’s Basketball Coach\, who will talk about his charity Full Court Peace that seeks to connect communities through basketball. \nSLOBs members have served over 23\,000 hours since the organization’s inception in 2004 in a wide variety of projects in New Canaan and surrounding communities.
