SUMMARY:New Canaan Chamber of Commerce 35th Annual Halloween Parade
DESCRIPTION:The New Canaan Chamber of Commerce will put on its 35th annual Halloween Parade on Sunday\, October 30th. The Event Kicks off at noon with families’ gathering in the Park Street parking lot to receive goodie bags (while supplies last!) with a 1PM Parade kick off lead by Old Faithful\, rain or shine. \nThe “Party” at the Park Street lot will include fun for all! The School of Rock will serenade parade goers with Halloween tunes such as the Monster Mash\, Werewolves of London\, and Ghostbusters while Pet Pantry will be Hosting the Great Scirico who will be creating balloon animals for all to enjoy! “Marshall” from Pet Patrol will be on hand to greet all ghosts and goblins thanks to Toddlertime Nursery School. \nStart planning your costume now so you can enter into the “Best Dressed Family and Pet” contest sponsored by Venture Photography who has donated a Family sitting Package to the first place winner. \nOther sponsors include Camp Playland\, Bankwell in New Canaan\, Dunkin Donuts\, New Canaan Advertiser\, the Toy Chest and NuRenu Brand Marketing. Goody Bags items generously donated by Mackenzies\, TD Bank\, Walter Stewarts Market\, Station Eats\, Vineyard Vines\, NC Healthfare\, Joe Vittoria of Promotion in Motion\, New England Academy of Dance and Funkey Monkey. Many thanks to both chapters of the National Charity League\, NC Public Works and Old Faithful for helping make the parade a wonderful day in New Canaan. \nMarchers should gather in the Park Street parking lot starting at noon.
