SUMMARY:New Canaan Historical Society's Third Annual Cemetery Tour
DESCRIPTION:What better way to celebrate Halloween than a trip to a local cemetery? Each year the tour\, led by Patricia Funt Oxman\, goes to a different local cemetery to explore noteworthy graves of celebrities and persons of local interest. This year’s destination is Putnam Cemetery in Greenwich. A van will leave from the Historical Society at 1 pm. The tour includes a wide range of people from charming comedian Victor Borge\, opera singer Ezio Pinza\, to famed designer Vince Camuto. \nOn returning to the Historical Society\, the group will be treated to a talk with local author Patricia Brooks\, who has written a number of books including “Where the Bodies Are.” Cider and treats will be served.
