DESCRIPTION:On the eve of the summer solstice\, New Canaan Land Trust invites you to join artist and professor Christopher Kaczmarek to visit the Labyrinth at Watson-Symington Preserve. The Labyrinth is a seven-circuit classic labyrinth 60-foot in diameter\, created by Kaczmarek for the New Canaan Sculpture Trail 2020. Kaczmarek will offer an informal talk about the history of seven-circuit labyrinths and the making of the New Canaan Labyrinth from local stones gathered at the preserve. The outdoor talk will be followed by a meditative walk through the labyrinth. \n
