DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, August 31 at the Pop Up Park\, the community is invited to an Overdose Awareness Day & Vigil\, starting at 7PM.  The purpose of the event is twofold: 1) to honor and remember those who died too soon; and 2) to bring the community together to ask all to help.  The event tagline is “Helping Each Other to Heal”.\nThis event invites the community to participate: Engage – interact with the Hope & Remembrance Wall\, get informed from resources & experts in attendance\, and enjoy live music; Listen –  to both parents and young people in recovery share their real-life experiences and hope; and Honor – participate in a Candlelight Vigil with lighting of candles\, music\, and pledge of commitment from clergy and community members. \n
