SUMMARY:Quilting Workshop with Lizzy Rockwell at The Norwalk Art Space
DESCRIPTION:Lizzy Rockwell\, a Korry Fellow at The Norwalk Art Space\, will lead a free community workshop in paper quilt design\, hand stitching and fabric art drawing on Saturday\, February 26\, 2022 from 12:00-3:00pm. At the same time\, members of Peace by Piece – an ongoing intergenerational after-school art program designed by Lizzy – will host a community quilting bee. Visitors ages 8 and up are welcome to drop in anytime between 12:00pm and 3pm to participate in these activities. Seating will be limited\, so guests will be asked to rotate between stations and let others share in the process to encourage more participation. Children 11 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.  \n
