DESCRIPTION:The New Canaan Parent Support Group is hosting Reefer Sanity: Debunking the Myths About Marijuana with Kevin Sabet\, Ph.D.  This event is a follow-on to last year’s Marijuana: Just the Facts event.  Dr. Sabet will discuss the risks and science behind marijuana\, and then will answer questions.  He is a former presidential drug policy adviser and author of the book Reefer Sanity: Seven Great Myths About Marijuana.  Parents and students are encouraged to attend.  Copies of Reefer Sanity and another important book–Tell Your Children by Alex Berenson–will be sold at a reduced cost by Elm Street Books.
