SUMMARY:Scottish Heritage and Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan Service at the First Presbyterian Church
DESCRIPTION:The annual First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan Scottish Heritage & Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan Service will take place Sunday April 30 at ten a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan.  The Reverend Paul Gilmore\, Senior Pastor\, will officiate and preach.  The service will also feature Pipe Major Jonathan Henken and the Mount Kisco Scottish Pipes and Drums and honored guests representing various Scottish Clans\, Societies and genealogical organizations.  Come and hear the stirring performances of Amazing Grace and Highland Cathedral.  All are welcome to attend and the wearing of kilts\, plaids or other tartan clothing is encouraged.  Following the service\, the celebration will continue with a traditional Gaelic social gathering\, or Cèilidh.  \n
