SUMMARY:Screening of  “The First Monday in May” Documentary Film followed by Q&A with the Creative Producer
DESCRIPTION:The documentary film\, “The First Monday in May” offers a behind the scenes look at the 2015 Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala and Spring Exhibition\, China: Through the Looking Glass. The film chronicles the year long exhibit curation\, which as of 2016\, was the most visited exhibit in the Costume Institute’s history. Featured in the film are style icons Anna Wintour\, Karl Lagerfeld\, Vera Wang and John Galliano\, as well as artists Lady Gaga\, Beyonce\, Rihanna and Baz Luhrmann. Following the 90 minute film the audience will have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of the creative producer\, Fabiola Beracasa Beckman. The doors will open at 2:30 pm and the screening will start promptly at 3:00 pm.
