DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, June 5 from 10am-3pm \n Artists & Beginners Welcome — portrait collages of other people can also be made.  \nIn this new workshop\, participants will explore several approaches to self-portrait collages. Portraits can include surroundings\, or focus on any aspect of self that you choose. Working up to 18 x 24″\, you can begin with a drawing\, painting\, past or current photograph\, or a mirror and a blank page. Explore your inner and outer being\, one piece of collage paper at a time. Using line\, color\, shape\, texture\, pattern and transparency\, the instructor will guide you with examples from Picasso to Rembrandt including demonstrations and ideas. \n
