DESCRIPTION:Reception for an art exhibition featuring Korry Fellow Sarah King with visiting artists Judy Glantzman and Maryna Bilak. According to Nikkya Hargrove\, this exhibition will show “through mediums ranging from painting to sculpture\, how these artists articulate the intersectionality of artist and mother.” The artists’ work speaks to the fact “that as mothers\, and caregivers alike\, we have an obligation that never gets time off. We have a mandate to show up as our best selves in every single moment\,” says Hargrove. The exhibition will be on display in the M&T Bank Magnificent Room at the SONO Collection\, 100 N. Water Street\, Norwalk until February 9th. \n
