SUMMARY:Summer Theatre of New Canaan Presents Charlotte's Web
DESCRIPTION:Now in its 12th professional season\, the critically acclaimed Summer Theatre of New Canaan presents Broadway Musicals for adults and families and quality theatre for a young audience at Waveny Park in New Canaan\, CT. \nConsidered one of children’s literature’s greatest stories\, this production of Charlotte’s Web begins after a restless first night in the Zuckerman family barn\, where a naive young pig named Wilbur meets a witty and resourceful spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur learns of some unsettling plans for his future\, Charlotte takes it upon her spinnerets and her trusty web to save him. This fantastical tale from the mind of E.B. White is at once magical\, moving\, and entertaining. A cast of 6 actors perform all roles and creatively introduce puppets\, masks and songs. Tickets are priced at $22\, and the production will run from June 13th to August 8th in rotation with our other Theater for a Young Audience shows.
