SUMMARY:Summer Youth Connection with Ukraine
DESCRIPTION:In this free class\, students from The Norwalk Art Space will get the opportunity to share their culture and personal stories through art-making with Ukrainian teens attending RaDity – Радіти “A Space for Children to Get Happy\,” a summer camp and art school in Ukraine. Located in the wooded countryside in Western Ukraine\, “RaDity Space” provides a haven for children traumatized by the ongoing war. American and Ukrainian students will exchange art and ideas through live video conversations between the two programs to create friendships across continents. This class will be facilitated by our community partner Creative Connections and taught by TNAS Educational Director Darcy Hicks. 14 spots for students aged 13-18.
