DESCRIPTION:Artist & instructor Fruma Markowitz returns for a spring intro to Art of Cyanotype workshop! \nThe perfect opportunity to learn the process\, experiment and develop your skills. Create prints on paper using the cyanotype historical photographic process.\nLearn how the non-toxic cyanotype chemicals (potassium ferricyanide and ferric ammonium citrate) react in exposure to sun/UV light to produce permanent\, magical blue and white images.\nUse botanical specimens and common objects to produce one-of-a-kind compositions involving both random and intentional mark-marking. The results are surprising\, ethereal and delightful!\nCreate a 12” X 12” cloth cyanotype flag with any type of design which they can take home to display. \nFruma will also teach an advanced cyanotype workshop on Sunday April 21 — sign up for one day or both. \nMembers: $80 / Non-members $95  (limited to 10 participants\, includes all materials) \n
