DESCRIPTION:Come learn and explore your creativity at the Carriage Barn Arts Center this spring!\nOn Tuesday\, April 17 the Carriage Barn is hosting “Wax & Wine\,” a social evening of hands-on fun.   \nCarriage Barn member and New Canaan assemblage artist Cindy Bussiere will lead a relaxing introduction to encaustic paints and collage.  Participants will work with warm wax and paper images and complete a work of art on their small wooden canvas. No experience is necessary but practicing artists are welcome to join as well.  \nBring photos\, images from magazines or books\, paper swatches and anything else that inspires you. \nThe workshop will take place from 7-9pm and the cost is $35 for Carriage Barn members and $50 for non-members (fee includes materials).\nLight refreshments will be served\, BYOB if desired. \nSpace is limited\, register online at carriagebarn.org or call 203-594-3638.    \n
