DESCRIPTION:The New Canaan Men’s Club will hear about fine wines and how they’re valued at its meeting Friday\, July 12\,  from Charles Antin\, an auctioneer and senior wine specialist with Zachys Wine Auctions based in Brooklyn. Before joining Zachy’s\, Antin was wine specialist and head of wine sales for Christie’s auction house.\n	The Men’s Club meeting will be at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church\, 111 Oenoke Ridge\, beginning at 10 a.m.\n	At Zachy’s\, Antin has been responsible for auction sales ranging from $4 million to $9 million annually in value. He is responsible for Zachy’s business development\, wine authentication and global strategy.\n	Antin has written about wine for Food & Wine and as a freelance auctioneer for charitable organizations\, has raised funds for such organizations as The Clinton Foundation\, Autism Speaks\, the Brady Center for the Prevention of Violence and The Boston Symphony. He has a Master’s in Fine Arts in Creative Writing from New York University.\n	Antin’s remarks will begin around 10:40 a.m. following the business portion of the meeting.
