New program helps families understand and cope with mental illness

Parents, spouses and others who want to help loved ones with mental illness often find it challenging to maintain their own well-being. Family-to-Family meets that need with a free, 11-session program for family, partners, friends, caregivers and significant others of adults living with serious mental illness. Developed by the National Alliance on Mental Illness, it is taught by trained instructors who have first-hand experience in meeting the unique challenges faced by these families.
