What Is a Silent Disco?

It’s a totally unique way to experience live music! Rather than using a speaker system, the live DJ’s music is broadcast via radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless headphones worn by the dancers. There will be three music channels to pick from, playing a variety of genres that are sure to get our cross-generational group up out of their seats. You can switch between channels to join your friends or dance to your own beat.

When the silent disco headphones are on, the sound is crisp and clear anywhere in the venue. Since you are wearing headphones, guests can hear the music exactly how it is intended to be heard in true stereo sound.

About the Club

he New Canaan Dance Club exists for the pure pleasure of its members, who enjoy dancing. We organize a few great parties every year. We look for varied venues, from galleries to restaurants to country clubs; we vary the styles from casual cocktails to black tie formal dinners. What all our parties have in common is good food, great people, and dancing to the best live bands we can afford.

You don’t have to be a great dancer. You don’t even have to live in New Canaan to join the fun.

Our modest annual membership fees pay for bands and (minimal) administrative expenses. Ticket prices for each event cover food, venue rental, and any other costs associated with each party. Guests do not have to be members to come. Tickets can be purchased through our website at ncdanceclub.org.

Ticket Prices per couple:

$220 Member Couples with paid membership
$250 First time guests.
$325 Returning guests or former member couples.
