Stamford Hospital’s popular and informative Med Ed series at New Canaan Library continues the winter series with a talk on heart health. The collaborative effort features top physicians from Stamford Hospital exploring some common health issues and the prevention and treatment of them. Join Dr. Evelyn Cusack, cardiologist, on Tuesday, February 13 at 6:30 p.m. when she will offer valuable information on the many ways in which to maintain a healthy heart. Dr. Cusack joined The Heart Physicians, now Stamford Health Medical Group, in 2011. She is active in the GO RED movement and is well known on the health lecture circuit throughout Fairfield and Westchester counties. She is the recipient of the 2012 BRAVA award and is responsible for bringing the “Walk With A Doc” program to Stamford to emphasize the role of lifestyle in cardiovascular care. In addition, Dr. Cusack is the Director of Community Outreach for Stamford Hospital.
