The perfect opportunity to learn more advanced processes, further experiment and develop your skills. Create prints on paper using the cyanotype historical photographic process.
Practice the “Wet” Cyanotype process: using materials commonly found in one’s kitchen – sea salt, turmeric powder, and dish soap to achieve new textures and surprising colors.
Learn bleaching and toning techniques: using washing soda, black tea and instant coffee to achieve different colors with pre-made cyanotype prints.
Use botanical specimens and common objects to produce one-of-a-kind compositions involving both random and intentional mark-marking. The results are surprising, ethereal and delightful!
