NCPA AWARDS 5-3-15 58 HUCKLEBERRY HILL RD_3

“The house at 58 Huckleberry Hill Road received the Residential Rehabilitation Award for renovations that preserved most of the exterior elevations but with a handsome new addition in the rear of the building, sensitively designed by Robert Sanders Architects, Wilton, the second time one of his projects was given an award by the Alliance. This house was built by Cornelia Ellis and Howard Logan Hildebrandt in 1910 as a summer house and studio, and Ms. Findlay showed some views of paintings he executed within certain rooms, identified by the windows. The owners, Cynthia Brown-Bazile, who grew up in the house, and her husband Joseph Bazile, received the award standing with the architect and her mother, presented by Carl Rothbart, preservation architect.”
