Town: Early Voting for Presidential Primaries Opens March 26

By Michael Dinan | March 13, 2024

Town officials are reminding residents ahead of the presidential primaries that Connecticut is allowing early voting for the first time this year. Voting for the Republican and Democratic primary elections for U.S. President will be held in the Town Hall registrar’s office from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 26, 27, 28 and 30, according to a press release issued by the town. In-person primary voting will be held 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 2 in three polling places (District 1 voting at New Canaan High School; Districts 2 and 3 voting at Saxe Middle School; and Districts 4, 5 and 6 voting at East School). Voters must be enrolled in either major party to participate. “Polling place parking and entrances will be posted at each school,” the press release said.
