New Canaanite: Tell me how it’s going so far this holiday season at Splash of Pink. Wendy Probert: We just moved down to this location last year in January. We were up the street at another location, so we’re coming up on a year and it started off quite well.

What kind of things are people looking for?

The fine jewelry’s been really exploding. People are loving the diamonds and the charms. We’re actually doing a flash sale of 14-karat diamond sapphire charms. They’re 20% off and everyone’s loving the wishlist, as well.

Judi Anders: We’re having a slow start, but we had a good weekend with the Holiday Stroll as the kickoff.

What kinds of items are people most interested in?

A lot of people are looking for the fuzzy PJs. That’s one of our most popular items. They come in pants, shorts, hoodies, onesies. Christmas patterns, regular patterns—those are probably our best-selling items.

The demographic you serve seems to wear them all the time.

Oh, they wear them out.
