Police on July 30 arrested a 52-year-old Norwalk woman and charged her with driving under the influence.
At about 11:13 p.m. that night (a Tuesday), officers responded to the area of Smith Ridge Road near the Field Club on a report of an erratic vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road, police said.
There, officers located the car and stopped it, according to a police report.
They smelled alcohol on the driver’s breath and conducted field sobriety tests, the report said.
The woman refused to undergo a breath test to establish her blood-alcohol at police headquarters, where she was processed on the misdemeanor charge, it said.
She was additionally cited for failure to drive right.
Police released the woman on $250 bond and scheduled her to appear Aug. 9 in state Superior Court.
The case has been statutorily sealed, according to Connecticut Judicial Branch records.
