The New Canaan Building Department on Tuesday issued a permit for a 4,500-square-foot home on Green Meadow Lane.
The five-bedroom house planned for 23 Green Meadow Lane will include four full bathrooms, two half-baths, one fireplace and a finished basement, according to the building permit application.
It will cost $1.1 million to build, the application said.
The contractor on the job is Cognetta Homes LLC, the architect CMS Architects, both of Stamford.
The 1.08-acre parcel was purchased for $1.4 million January, tax records show. In March, the town issued a demolition permit for the 2,148-square-foot ranch-style house on the property.
It’s owned by a limited liability company whose principal is listed in Connecticut Secretary of the State records as a resident of Green Meadow Lane.
