Police cited a 34-year-old Stratford woman for possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana following a minor traffic accident on Main Street in which she was not at fault.

The woman was traveling southbound in 1993 Honda when a car cut in front of her to make a left onto Woodland Road. She struck the vehicle and then both her own car and the one that cut her off—operated by a 21-year-old Norwalk man—were rear-ended. (Each of those second motorists later would be issued a verbal warning for following too closely.) No one was injured in the accident.

During a subsequent investigation, police smelled marijuana in the Stratford woman’s car and found a small amount inside, police said.
