Police on Friday night arrested a 48-year-old New Canaan woman and charged her with driving under the influence.
At 8:42 p.m. on June 19, police received a report of a vehicle driving erratically southbound on Main Street, officials said.
They stopped the car near Oak Street, according to a police report.
Officers detected signs of impairment and, after conducting field sobriety tests, charged the Holly Road woman with the misdemeanor offense, the report said.
She refused to undergo a test to establish her blood-alcohol content level, it said.
Police additionally cited for failure to drive right.
She was released after promising to appear July 23 in state Superior Court.
