The new reunion website will be up soon! Friday night — football game (Friday night lights! v. Trumbull), and informal get-together in town; Saturday — tour at Grace Farms (limited spots, alas), and dinner celebration at Woodway that night; Sunday — not confirmed, but possibly additional tour spots at Grace Farms. Also, we’re hoping to raise $$$ for the NCHS Scholarship Fund in memory of our (way too many) classmates who’ve passed away (last time, our class raised $6,500; we are looking into getting a “named” NCHS Class of 1977 Scholarship to go on in perpetuity). Hope everyone can make it!’

Anyone who wants to get on the email list for updates on the reunion (not a regular on Facebook and doesn’t want to miss notices), please send an email to info@nchsclassof77.com with your email and contact info. We will add you to the database or update your existing contact info (at least 5 years old). Several of the email services from 5 years ago are long gone!

Please spread the word! We want to be sure to reach everyone and use all the social media available to us to make this a great event!

So, are you ready for the NCHS Class of 1977’s 40th Reunion?

We are!  Well almost.

Current plans include a home football game vs. Trumbull at 700 p.m. on Friday night (under the lights) followed by cocktails at Spiga (right across the street from the Morse Court parking lot which is free after 6:00 p.m.)—think Breslow’s parking lot.

We are looking at the option of a tour at Grace Farms on Saturday at 10:30 – 12:00 ($25 per person) with very limited availability (25 people).  Anyone who wants to check it out on Sunday can go for a hike (sans tour).  If you want to check it out in advance go visit www.gracefarms.org. Another great New Canaan spot to visit.

The reunion itself is set for Woodway on Saturday night. We are working on getting the website set up so we can take reservations and payments via Pay Pal.  We should be all set by the end of July.

In the meantime, if you are on Facebook, please join the Facebook NCHS Class of 77 group to keep in touch and we will send you the Event Page so you can keep track of who is coming and all the details of the event.

If you would like to volunteer to help out, we would love to have you.  The one thing we can all do is help spread the word!  Apparently not everyone is on Facebook so we still need to send emails and pick up the phone to call a friend of two to share the news.
