New Canaan Library is pleased to partner with Stamford Health in presenting a unique opportunity for the community to join a conversation between physician, medical policy expert and former FDA commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb and Dr. Rohit Bhalla, Senior Vice President, Clinical Affairs & Quality, at Stamford Health.
The conversation will center on Dr. Gottlieb’s bestselling book, Uncontrolled Spread: Why COVID-19 Crushed Us and How We Can Defeat the Next Pandemic. They will discuss, among other topics, the Covid-19 pandemic, the public health response, and the necessary changes that must go into effect to prepare ourselves for future pandemics. All attendees are invited to pose questions to Drs. Gottlieb and Bhalla following the presentation.
The event will be held in-person at St. Luke’s School, 377 North Wilton Road, New Canaan, CT on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. The talk will begin at 7 PM, preceded by a book signing by Dr. Gottlieb, beginning at 6:15. The first 200 attendees will receive a copy of Dr. Gottlieb’s book.
