Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 7-2 in Norwalk CT offering its “About Boating Safety” (ABS) course on Saturday, May 12. Successful completion of this eight hour course meets the State of Connecticut’s requirements for operating boats and personal watercraft. This course also meets the state requirements for those living in New York.

Flotilla 7-2 is located at the Dominic Lametta Training Center in Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk, CT. Class begins promptly at 8 am.

The ABS class will address the safe operation of boats and personal watercraft. Other topics include boating law, onboard safety equipment, navigation, and underway emergencies.
